Electrical Ground Rod Installation System
Product Overview
Put away your sledge hammers, slide hammers, hammer
drills and dangerous ladders when installing ground rods.
Install a ground rod in under a minute with very little effort.
The unique Groundhawgs System utilizes a motor driven driver and our unique auger tip to
effortlessly install 5/8" diameter 8 foot electrical ground rods.
The system allows reversing the driver to back the rod out of the ground when a rock in
encountered to try another spot.
The system also utilizes a water based conductive slurry making the ground rod twice as
conductive to the earth as a hammered rod.
The auger tip which has a slightly larger diameter than the ground rod creates an area
around the rod which allows introduction of the conductive slurry.
The system is more cost effective than current 
methods. One person can install about 10
ground rods per hour and you will need about ½ the number of ground rods to achieve the
same earth contact resistance than sledge hammer driven rods.

Unit is powered by a standard two speed Milwaukee ½” Hole Hawg
300/1200 RPM Drill used by most electrical contractors.
The auger tip has a steel cone shaped insert that is cast in the zinc auger body to allow
effortless attachment of the auger tip to the ground rod.
Note: Our product has not yet solved the problem of frozen ground
penetration.
However, we are working on it.
